Looking for an effordable fivestring the salesman asked me to try this bass. I checked others too (Yamaha, Fender, e.s.h., Ibanez etc.) and went back to this bass. I got it.

The quality and accuratess struck me completely. From fretting to finish to hardware (Gotoh tuners, 3D bridge) the instrument is perfect, no single thing to complain about except the missing separated cavity for the battery. I never expected such an instrument for that price.

Playing a high C-string instead of a low B I made a new setup. The neck could be set nearly straight with a superior playability with minimum buzz. The bridge can be locked. Together with the neck-thru construction, even with a narrow neck and JB string spacing, the sustain is unbelievable.

The sound of the EMG pickups is somewhere between Fender Jazz and modern HiFi sounds. Not that soul of a JB with Bartolinis and not that growling sound of a Stingray. The controls allow a lot of variations. Definitely, it's a rock player's bass.
