This is a great, affordable version of the classic Guild Starfire II. It
lacks the master vol of the original, but the sound & feel are great.
Interestingly enough, the DeArmond pickups are actually closer in design and
construction to the original 60's Guild/Hagstrom pickups than are the
Seymour Duncan Humbuckers that Guild now puts on their reissue! This is a
short-scale bass for a 60s sound. Put flats on it and thump away. Definitely
NOT for pop'n'slappers...
