Anyway, in the short amount of time spent, the bass was very playable. Set up was good, but I'm picky. Very good attention to detail in the construction, but to be honest, you won't see the "slop" until you get inside a bass (didn't get there).
The tone was great! The owner was looking for a Marcus Miller type tone and I would have to say he found it.
They are pretty proud of these basses, and there is a point of diminishing returns. If you can get close to the sound, but not quite there, you may consider taking another step with one of these.
It's on my Christmas list!
