i would not use it as a main instrument, but for reggae or anything you need a HUGE low end for, dis be it. the mids are muddy, the high end is nonexistant, and it's one noisy pickup, but BOOM BOOM.
has a cheezy pickguard, that i immediately pulled off of mine, and and equally cheezy painted on "f" hole, which somehow adds charm to the beast.
it is comfortable to play, when properly set up ... the archtop makes it a bit like a poor man's warwick ...
mine is strung with thomastik jazz flats .... i just wish someone made a proper replacement pickup for the beast ...
oh, and it comes with this funky telescoping stand, which may come in handy for beating away the groupies, but ...
