I personaly think this bass should be a lot better than what is right now.For what this bass cost (which is almost close to 2000.00 retail for whatever reason)to me it should be alot more versatile and have better electronics than what is being offered right now.The playability is ok but each person is different when it comes to that and also a real good professional setup makes a HUGE difference. The bass is a little neck heavy but it is basically a hop-up p-bass.The preamp is a bit to zingy" for my taste however the B-string is well focus for a 34"inch scale bass. The quality of the workmanship on the bass is very good ie welled dressed frets,no runoffs of the finish,no deadspots, quiet electronics(although they could be much better and should be addressed)but if you would like to have one they are all over ebay for pretty reasonable prices that are being ask.I'll just as well will keep my Tobias 5.
