EMail : JSCHRO7376@AOL.COM This Bass is a master piece. Matt Schmill and I discussed the specific wood that would enable me to get my various sounds, from a growling low B, clean mids to superb but not shrill highs. This bass is tuned in 4ths and it's amazing how easy it is to play. The 35" scale makes the low B growl and it is tighter than any Pedulla I've played before. All in all, this baby does it all. Matt's undoubtful craftmanship and love for details makes this instrument a work of art. After 10 months of anxious waiting, I've been playing my baby now for over a month constantly gigging every weekend, and using it as my main instrument. I've been playing bass now for a very long time and am glad that I have finally an instrument that can do it all. I am not even taking any backup to a gig, that's how much confidence I have in Matt. After playing almost any bass in this universe (yeah, the endless pursuit for the ideal sound) I have to say that this bass outclasses most other high-end instruments!! and believe me I've tried them all. This baby is sturdy, easy to play, versatile, what can a musician ask more? If you guys want something beautiful and reliable contact Matt, he's da man. check out his site, it's worth it: http://eksl.cs.umass.edu/~schmill/fbb/index.html
