This is my main bass right now. At least until I upgrade my Geddy Lee Jazz Bass pickups (see review). The Lace Sensors and active circuitry cut through the sound of the band, and the extra volume boost is nice. It is substantially lighter than my Ged bass which is made of alder wood, and it doesn't feel like it is made quite as tight. But it is a nice bass that plays and sounds great. A good used buy if you can find one!
