I 'll start by making the point that I have never seen a bass like mine in my colour, ever. I have seen pictures on ebay of the cream , and cherry colours. I dont know how much it is worth , but someone at fender put some time into this beauty.
From the gold hardware to the custom factory paint this is absolutly stunning, and the sound it generates is definatly a cornerstone in P-Bass technology.
The first series to ever house active pickups, this bass is heads and shoulders above a standard P-Bass. I know, because I had one of those too. If you see this bass and are serious about your basses, buy this. You even get the vintage tweed case with gold fender plaque. I have used it at large venues, small venues, large studios, basement studios, and never left in the dust. The P-Bass lives up to the legend and delivers a solid response no matter what the application. Please send me any questions.
