Love the j-bass tone, passive PUs are a little weak but I can crank the amp to compensate.
String-thru bridge sounded full but lacked snap. I installed a BADASS BASS V bridge and it sounds much better.
Pau Ferro board is very silky once I applied some melaleuca oil.
Neck is very stable, setup is nice, I have not changed anything except the PU height and strings.
I like the LaBella Hard Rockin' Steels.
Overall, classic Fender J tone and worth it at the price.
