The bass is well-made and reasonably priced. Where I expect to
find dead-spots, I find maybe slightly quiet spots, apparently
due to the graphite. The setup from the factory was superb,
with the exception of the pickups being mounted so they tilted
forward a bit (harmless). The shielding is reasonable. The
tuners feel a bit "gritty" to me compared to a Gotoh or similar,
but they do their job well. The case fits tight and offers
great protection. The bass comes with a very nice truss-rod
wrench and allen wrenches, and a $2 Chinese-made strap, which
seems out of place.
The bass arrived at the dealer UPS, and I took it to practice an
hour later. I tuned it once and it stayed in tune all night.
This is not a terribly fancy bass, but it does what a bass needs
to do, and what is there is very well made.
