Extremely quiet, transparent, musical sounding at all settings. For bass you must use slow attack and release times to avoid distortion (see the notes of FMR's web site regarding bass). Everything from subtle compression to ultra-crunch, and it all sounds good. Useful for both recording and live playing.
"Supernice" mode chains three internal compressors in series for "smooth" compression.
Can chain the "left" output into the "right" input for extra crunch.
Can be used for special effects. Plug a drum machine into the sidechain to get tremolo effect, or set the attack/release for "pumping and breathing" effect.
Extremely light and compact unit.
