Construction: Very well put together, assembled, and designed. My only complaint was there were a few knots in the wood. All the hardware (especially the ABM bridge) is VERY nice and solid. Finish is very smooth and even although the transition from the finished body to the oiled neck could have been cleaner.

Playability: This is why I bought this bass; I couldn't put it down (still can't)! The neck is super-fast and comfortable, I have the action set ridiculously low and there is no buzzing. Also, the pickups are curved to the same radius as the fretboard, so you have this "platform" right under your fingertips (same idea as the "[Gary]Willis Ramp") that keeps you from digging in too hard.

Appearance: Very nice. I prefer quilt over flame maple, but the overall look is very classy and professional.

Sound: I like LOTS of low end in a bass, so the lows on the Cirrus didn't blow me away, but the sound of the bass sits extremely well within a loud band context, and if it had all the bass I thought I wanted, it probably wouldn't cut as well. The EQ is very musical and useful. My biggest revelation was the blend: I don't know if it's buffered or not, but, unlike most 2 pickup basses, the Cirrus is loudest with both pickups even. As a result, you can really fine tune the blend you want and not feel like you're losing something.

Value: If anyone else was building and marketing these, they'd sell for $1000 more. Gotta love Peavey!

Customer Service: Haven't needed it.

Overall: The first bass to go head-to-head with my MusicMan Sterling and not come up lacking.
