This bass was bought from a friend of my dads who is a very good bassist and gigs alot. This bass was in perfect condition. The neck and fretboard are one peice of maple. The tuners have been replaced and it holds its tune very good. This bass is made in America which might explain how good the sound is. It seems to have good quality parts on it. I was going to buy a standard jazz bass but this was superior...it had a thinner , faster neck and more room to slap and pop. This is an increadible deal for the money and i probably will never sell it.
