Frets are really great and well rounded to fit the fretboard. The neck is fully adjustable.
The only problem is that when I received it and played it only a few hours and the neck loosened up. I tightened it and now no problem.
Black Flake finish looks great in the lights. The bass has a 18 volt active pick up with High, Bass Shelving, Mid, Cut and Boost.
You can get many sounds with a quick adjustment on stage. I have owned many Basses in my playing career and this one has the best sound and playability of any of them. It plays and sounds better than my Fender MB5 and Fender Jazz. Beats Gibson to death.
The electronics are quiet too.
I play through a SWR Super Red Head 350 Watt Combo and there is no hum from the pickup. Quiter than a Fender.
I finger Pick and each note is sounded exactly like it should. The strings have good tension. I use DR-Low Rider Stainless Steel Round Wound strings. This bass comes alive with them and really rocks.
I play Southern Gospel and Contemporary Gospel and with the vary in sounds it's a great bass.
Probably won't sell it soon. Also a very light bass and good balance. Hope this helps you decide. Email me questions, I'll be happy to answer them.
