I found this bass for a great price. It came with the Peavey hardcase. It is my main bass and is very comfortable to play live due to the lightweight Alder body and extended upper horn for excellent balance. The bass has a 35" scale and I use DR Stainless LoRider strings. You can get an excellent Musicman type tone with the bridge pickup alone, and a very modern sound using both combined. I usually boost the bass a bit and pretty much leave everything else flat and get a great tone. It sits well in the mix in a 2 guitar band. I've not been able to find another used, but if I did I would most likely purchase another. It is a shame that this version has been discontinued. If you can get one for the price I paid then you've gotten a great deal. Highly recommend this bass for the beginner or pro.
