This was the first bass I ever bought. I have played many since then, and I always come back to it. I gig and record with it, although it is VERY heavy. It took awhile to get used to this doing a 4 hour set. The sound and versatility of this bass is incredible! You can make it sound like anything. It is built like a tank, and it has great sustain. The only problem I have had is the 3-way switch broke off in transit. I fixed it for $5 and haven't had a problem since. It is in mint condition, although I haven't exactly babied it. It's a '78 model, and it looks brand new. It also has a cool, old-school look.
