Well it's okay to start on but you wont see Jason Newsted on stage with it. Trouble has occured on the cord input, the wires in there came unattached one time so far. It lacks the comforts you would want in the pickups, the bridge is very hard plastic amd has no bridge lock. I got this in August 1996.
