One word: SOLID! With a swamp ash body, this thing weighs
a ton but keeps the balance steady. It's range of tones is
impressive as well; it can sound like a P-bass, J-bass, add
chorus and it will sound like a Ric. The neck resembles that
of a Jazz, while the body is like a P. The only fault is that
the pick-ups don't go far enough in to the body to drop the
bridge as low as I would like it. This was made sometime in
the '80's and no corrosion or oxydation has started in; strange,
but I'm not complaining.
In short, this is the Les Paul of basses, without the price.
Oh yeah, and they don't make them anymore, so good luck finding
one.
