Shopped around a while before picking this one up. My other bass was a G&L 2000, I'd never played a 5 stringer I liked.Man what a tone.Rock solid bottom,clean highs,mid-range to die for. Very distintive sounding bass, not sterile sounding as some high end neck throughs tend to be. I highly recommend this bass, I've been playing it for 3yrs no problems at all.
