The Rapture begs to be played. Graceful lines and unique body shape feel wonderful pressed against your ribs. Light, balanced, and petite. Thin neck with a silky finish. Great access to upper frets. Lots of room below the fretboard for slapping.
Construction and setup are excellent. Fretwork is perfect. Knobs are solid and quiet. Stays in tune. String action can be set very low.
This bass does not produce vintage tones. The "thump" is tight and the high end positively sings. And mids are there at the flick of a switch.
My bass had a bad volume pot that was replaced by Pedulla at no cost (I had to pay for shipping one way). I spoke with Mike personally and he was happy to make sure I was a satisfied customer.
