I was a little worried about spending around a thousand dollars on a bass, but it's been over half a year since I bought the Rapture and I have no regrets. Probably the best feature is its playability. The satin finished neck plays fast, and the string spacing is very comfortable. In addition, the bass only weighs around 8 pounds, so it's comfortable to wear with a strap. Although it only has one pickup, I haven't had any problems with getting the tones I need via the treble and bass controls.
