This bass is very light and easy to play thank to a low action. It has 3 PU's and a PU selector with 5 positions: 1°: mid PU, good tone with a plectrum and fingers; 2°: neck PU, sound a little like a Rickenbaker, good with a plectrum; 3°: neck + mid, good tone with fingers; 4° & 5°: some conbination of neck PU and another one, very bad tone.

Is a very good bass for Rock or any fingerstyle. NO allowable tone for slap ! To much low midrange I think.
