Model C2-TEB Double Electric Bass Bag
Price $298-list

The C2-TEB is constructed of Codura, a strong, waterproof, nylon
fabric. All seams are folded and double-stitched on the inside, for a
neat outward appearance. Two integral shoulder straps are attached to
the bag and overlayed by leather patches. The lower of these
attachments are double-rivoted.
The comfortable leather handle is also rivoted to the bag in a
location that allows the bag to be extremely balanced when loaded.
Three brass rings are provided; two for use with the provided
'side-carry' strap, and one for hanging the bag on a coat hook. These
are attached to nylon webbing with the leather patch/rivot method as
mentioned above.
Inside, the C2-TEB is lined with soft velour covering 1-inch foam
rubber and has leather patches attached at the headstock and bridge
areas. A 1-inch velour-covered foam divider is provided for padding
between the two basses.
The metal zipper surrounds the bag, allowing full access, and is
stamped with the Reunion Blues logo. The bag's bottom edge is covered
by a leather patch with four brass stand-offs.
A 12"x10 1/2" bellows pocket with a Velcro closure is stitched to the
front of the bag.

Anyone who has ever struggled with taking two basses to a gig in hardcases will appreciate the Reunion Blues C2-TEB Double Electric Bass Gig Bag. I certainly did the first time I used it, during a load-in on a particulary snowy night! The construction is top-quality and the bag has a neat, professional look to it, with a surprisingly slim profile. If you fly alot, this bag would be wonderful. It is available in a variety of colors, even though some mail-order houses list limited offerings. (My navy blue bag was constructed and shipped to the dealer within 6 weeks.)

There are a few things that I feel could be improved. First, the shoulder straps could be padded and installed upside down. Since I only use one strap to hang the bag from my left shoulder, the large brass hardware on the other strap digs in to my back. (I have the other strap shortened to keep it out of my way.) In warmer, T-shirt weather, this could be uncomfortable. Secondly, the accessory pocket could be a bit deeper. Also, my "other" gig bag, a Tough Traveler single, came with a hook that allows me to hang the bag from the top of a door or clothes rod. This would be nice addition to the RB bag since the ring for such a hook is already provided.

With a list price of $298, the C2-TEB is certainly not cheap, but offers an exceptional value. If you're shopping for a double bag, this is an excellent choice.
