This bass is not just another retro instrument designed to capitalize on the baby boomer mid-life crisis. Joe Naylor has designed this with a semi-hollow phenolic body around a solid mahogany center block. The neck is mounted to the mahogany block and reinforced with a steel truss rod.
The tone is beefy and distinct, with a tendency on some settings toward a modern jazz bass to a vintage jazz bass to a Danelectro. In all, a ballsy, mulit-faceted tone monster. Very light weight with a fast, playable vintage-feel neck.
