I have never had an interest in any Danelectro or Jerry Jones type bass. I recently traded a bass and got some $$ + the Reverend Rumblefish. I must say that I was completely blown away. A very hot look w/ lots of retro vibe. The bass itself sounds fantastic. The 35" scale really helps to define the B string and the playability and action are superb! The neck will not budge cause it's held on with 6 bolts. It's semi-hollow artificial phenolic body has a mahagony strip running the length of it. This gives the bass lots of punch and a very resonant sound w/ a good attack. A very cool piece that stays true to the reviews I've read. All in all-it's staying in my collection.
