I'm not sure whether this is an acoustic electric bass or an electric bass that sounds acoustic. Rob makes fantastic instruments!! The first thing I noticed was the absolutely gorgeous birdseye maple neck. I never seen such good birdseye maple. The quilted top is very nice as well. The bridge is hand carved and the only knob (volume) is built into the bridge. Oh yeah, its carved out of the same wood as the bridge...very cool.

Enough about looks, how does it sound?

I have never heard or played a fretless with more mwah!! You cant even tame it, it's so out of control and beautiful. The action is silky smooth and the neck is very cmfortably shaped. The sound is very orgainc and woody. Definitely the last fretless I'd ever buy! Check them out, you won't be sorry
