I just bought it like 2 weeks ago, I took it out of the box and started playing. I've played one before and I thought that they were nice but I was gonna buy a dean. But the Dean that i wanted to buy was 400 and out of my price range and I wanted a five string now. So I bought the rogue. For 139 I couldnt be happier. Its wicked nice. Nobody thinks it would be for 139 but its awesome. The neck is fast and smooth, the sound is nice, and its really light and fun. The only problem is the electronics, they arent active, but you know what? A) My friend put active electronics in his Rogue so if you really want them you can do that but B) Active elctronics arent that nessasary when you have EQ pedal and 9 EQ's on your amp. I love the bass and after I buy my new amp Im gonna go out and order the fretless.
There is one little thing about Rogue basses. They arent made anymore or something. The only place you can buy them is Musicians Friend For a while I though Gibson made them, cause Rogue bass strings are made by Gibson, then I heard musicians friend bought out a companys whare house of rougue and thats why they are selling them. I dont know. Its a really good bass though. Just raise the saddels when you get it.
