The only problem I had with the instrument itself is the to sautered connections to the output jack came unsautered, this is mainly due to poor anchoring of the output jack into the body which caused it to wiggle loose after long hours of hard play and it finally fell out, destroying hte connections to the pickups. I stripped the wires a bit and sautered them back, but I constantly have to tighten the nut inside the body so that won't happen again.
The only other problem with this bass is the neck. It is way too fat and the action is too high, I lowered the action, but the neck is still too fat and that coupled with jumbo frets and my smal hands caused me to have cramps during long concerts.
This bass sounds great and the tone is pretty versatile but if you have small hands like me, be sure to test it out and make sure it is right for you.
