After deciding to treat myself to a high-end bass, I tried every brand I could get my hands on -- you name it, I've probably played on it. The Roscoe blew them all away, for one reason: Tone. The "B" rings like a massive bell, with a huge bottom and incredible sustain (the bass is 35" scale, which helps). This bass literally sings.
The controls give you a wide mixture of sounds, and I love the punchy attack. The other thing that sold me on the Roscoe was the way it felt in my hands -- the action was superb. The finish was lovely, the hipshot tuners are excellent. I've since put DR Sunbeams on the bass and I have _never_ heard an instrument sound better.
Can you tell that I'm very, very pleased with this purchase?
