I bought this amp because I needed cheap power to drive a lower efficiency 8 Ohm cabinet. In Bridged mode there was plenty of clean power. Since that time, I am now running two high efficiency cabs and rarely have to turn the volume up that high on the amp. The great thing about this is that it is super clean and leaves tons of headroom that is readily apparent. As far as I can tell, there is no coloration of sound. I have never hit a point where the amp clipped and it never even seems to get hot although I do leave space above and below it in my rack. This amp offers alot of bang for the buck. The only negative is that it is very heavy compared to everything else that I own.
