This is about as good as cheap tuners get, I would imagine. Works great for guitars and basses, has automatic and mode tuning. Even has a pitch control, what that does exactly is beyond me, but it's there. Made of plastic, dropped it down a flight of stairs and it's still ticking. Haven't changed the battery in 6 months (when i got it, will probably last alot longer). Has a mic or you can just play into it.
