Well first thing about this bass is its huge. I mean size wise its hard to fit side ways into a standard car realy hard to get into any car boot.

Picked this up off a studio in mint condition added a few dents to it since had to get a case ordered in for it.

Playing wise this thing sounds great the tone and quality of sound is excellent. If your looking for a great acustic sound this thing does thet job. It can compete with an acoustic guitar without any amp needed which is always handy.

Has a built in tuner for the times you for get your own. I personally think its crap I know people like the thing but its not anywhere near acurate I just bring aloing an electronic one. Its handy if nothing else is arround and you want to get near the note but I could do that with my ear.

When it plugs in it has a huge range of different sounds. I have played it mainly out of two amps a laney combo (r5) and a Valve head / cab. Both give good all round sounds from this bass.

For any real sort of rock this bass isn't usefull. Granted you can play with the eq and change things but It just ain't built for it.

Three main problems I have found with this bass....

1. Its to big, I'm standing 6f3" and its huge on me You would need to be 4ft wide to properly get this arround you huge body 24 fret neck make this thing big.

2. Feedback - I went to a gig with only this bass once and had to turn the amp away from me and stand behind it. The feedback into this bass its quite bad depending on the amp and positioning but if your to close or if its point directly at it its very bad feed back. For that reason alone I never gig with only this bass I always bring another one along.

3. Factory settings - Its the same with most bass's I guess and down to preferance but the action is way to high every bass player I know who's played it agreed, also it would be nice to have a thumb rest for the bass.

Construction 90%
(Built realy well solid no problems looks the part nicely.)
Appearance 95%
(Looks a treat everyone will want to play this thing or have a try realy does
look good.)
Playability 85%
(Its hard to get the hang off Huge body neck, The action is very very high on
factory settings if you get one you will see what I mean needs lowered before
realy playable. )
Sound 95%
(Again great sounding bass if your looking for a nice acustic sound without sp
ending big money)
Value 98%
(Well its not free but I got it pretty cheap Its only £430 new and cheaper in
usa / online. Only thing you need to splash out for after is a case and if you
plan on moving this thing anywhere you realy need a case.)
Overall 90%
(Its a great bass for its use but not realy for giging however just nice to si
t down without an amp pedal or leads and play some nice bass tunes.)
