In reflection I got lucky. I got a model where construction was as good as to be expected, with no major flaws. The sound was relatively good, but you need a good amp for it.
Neck is chunky - more for you Precision players than Jazz players. I like it. Wide string spacing, good for slap(even though I don't). Small body, light, but no neck dive. Punchy sound, definite P-J sound, with P-Bass available.
REQUIRES A GOOD SET UP. I learned how to do my own setups on this thing, and it now rocks.
Also, am adding some DiMarzio P-J replacements, to make it kill. May put in new bridge/tuners.
