This is a good honest instrument. I was suprisingly impressed! I have a very deep tone and a lot of eq to dial it in. I've noticed this instrument sounds like a piano, very rich even when unplugged. My bass had some extra fret, set-up, and intonation work done before I got it so I'm not sure if they all sound this nice, but the feel is very smooth and the bass weighs 8lbs so it's a dream to play live. I'm pretty picky and I must admit this bass is a keeper.
