The fit and finish is good, but there is a small gap at the neck joint. I have seen this on other Tobias (Gibson) basses, so it must be typical. I have been playing StingRay5's with and without frets before buying the Killer B5. (just so you know where I'm coming from) This is like going from a Lincoln to a Corvette. The Killer B5 is ver light and responsive. The neck is wide but thin. Once you get use to it you can flat out fly. The sound is sweet and warm but with enough cut to get through the mix. The exectronics are the best I have used. They give you a lot of control and are dead quiet. Great bass but probably not for everyone.
