HOLY cow!!!!!.

These basses rule. It's by far the most kickass sounding bass I've ever played. Fans of shellac, red scare, white octave, PIL know what I'm talking about. Truley unique in every way. I love the aluminum neck. Koa wood body is

beautiul. Pure solid craftmanship.

My hats off to you Mr. Bean!!

If you like your action a little high you may find this bass kinda hard to play. I found once you lower the action, it's a beautiful playing instrument, and if the strings rattle a bit, don't worry!!! It adds to the awesome sound through the amp. Kickass!! No truss rods. So forget annoying crap like adjusting necks everytime you string up with new gauges. No fuss! Someone that's music to my ears after owning a pain in the ass Rickenbacker 4001 from 1977.

This bass weighs ton, yes, but I don't care. You would find also that this is

a small price to pay for this beautiful instrument. I'm glad I found one. Some may think the neck is too "cool" too. But once you play it for like 10 minutes, it warms up nicely. I've played a ton of basses, from ricks, musicmans, fender jazzes, tokai jazzes, gibson rippers, etc. and this is the most powerful sounding, and funniest to play instrument ive ever owned. BUY ONE!!!

Beware of the guy on ebay selling Travis Beans for a reserve of 3000$,what a JERK
