This is a review of a jazz bass body and jazz bass neck from USA Custom Guitars. I was very specific in what I asked for, both in the woods that were used and in how the parts were constructed. USACG delivered on all counts. Tommy was great to work with, and they all seem really eager to make you happy. They are ex-Warmoth guys who are smaller and more receptive to custom work. Also, you can get a Fender-style neck with graphite reinforcement bars....something that "the other guy" won't do. Thus, you're stuck with those heavy steel rods in you bass neck. Definately check these guys out if you're looking to build your own bass, or have someone build one for you.
