Billy starts off with telling you about some of the things he thinks
are the basics of bass playing, like strap length. He says to keep
your strap at a length that when you're standing up, it's the same
length as when you are sitting down. This turned out to be a great
idea for me that helped a lot. He talks about tapping throughout most
of the video and the various things that help him out with that. A
lot of the things he talks about aren't applicable for most bass
players, because tapping isn't used in most styles, but if you like
tapping and playing extremely fast, this video is for you. One of the
best things about the video is, watching him play and the 6 minute
bass solo from '83. Billy comes off as an extremely cool guy and of
course a great bass player
