What a bass! The main feature is the incredible playability. Any
position on the neck can be reached without problems (it's custom,
we checked my fingers and style and adapted the neck-size). The
instrument is perfectly balanced.
The sound is typical Wal, hard to describe. It's a warm, very
punchy sound. Listen to Jonas Hellborg, that's it. I never had
problems to hear the instrument, even in a loud band, complex
musical situations... any situation we all know; when you pick
and slap and ... is it behind the guitar, covered by the brass?
Anyway, with the sophisticated EQ you have all possibilities.
I just have one adjustment on the amp, the rest happens on the
instrument. From brilliant pops to fretless-like sounds and
anything inbetween, even really weird things like tuba.
And one last thing: it's the most beautiful bass I've ever seen
and I never was sorry to spend so much money on it.
