I bought this bass from an add on bassgear.com...This is the first Wal that I have ever seen in the flesh and it was in serious condition. The frets had been removed by the previous owner and the body and bridge were both in need of serious repair. I had the bass refretted and it plays like an incredibly smooth bass should. I had to contact Pete at Electric Wood for additional parts for the bridge and electronics and he was awesome. He treated me like family and sent me everything I needed. He also told me the history and the bass was built in Jan of 1985 and he told me the rest of the story. I would recommend these basses to anyone who needs something just incredible. This bass can sound like any bass that I want. I have had it sound like a jazz, a precision, Ric, musicman etc...I want to replace all my other basses with Wals and keep rockin!!!!
